Mittelstadt’s Arrival

Casey Mittelstadt is on a four-game point streak and has 14 points (9G, 5A) in the last 17 games.

In 23 games under Don Granato, Mittelstadt’s point-production pace would 32 goals and 49 points over an 82 games season.

Caggiula getting comfortable

Drake Caggiula has now played 6 games with the Sabres since being claimed on waivers and appears to be getting closer to producing on the score-sheet.

Caggiula was moved up to the 2nd line with Dylan Cozens and Anders Bjork last game and was noticeable producing offensive chances. Caggiula will remain on that line today in search of his first point as a Sabre.

WIll Borgen finding his way

  • Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen gets the start in net after a loss on Thursday.
  • Sam Reinhart has 6 goals in his last 4 games.
  • Henri Jokiharju has 2 points in 3 games against the Bruins.

Expecting the Sabres to bounce back in this one after Thursday got away from them. This one has a higher-scoring, overtime feel to it.

4-3 Sabres win in OT (or the shootout?…)
