  • 15 former Sabres captains will be honored before the game and the Sabres will wear their new 50th Anniversary third jerseys.

#2 Devils forward Blake Coleman’s goal of the year candidate

  • Even though the Devils lost 5-4 (after leading 4-0 at one point) to Winnipeg in a shootout last night, Blake Coleman scored an absolutely ridiculous goal. This was one of two goals he potted against the Jets. The Devils have seen scoring from their depth forwards in their first game, keep an eye on that tonight.

#3 Corey Schneider available after leaving last night’s game

  • My expectation is that Mackenzie Blackwood will get the start tonight as a precaution. Blackwood played in 23 games last season, posting a 2.61 GAA and .918 SV%
