This is the first time that Eichel has had the honor of being named an NHL All-Star. The Sabres center has 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points in 43 games.
Eichel was the logical choice as the Sabres all-star selection, he has been one of their best and most consistent players this season. He has really lit up the league since the start of December and looks like he will continue his hot streak well into the new year.
In an abysmal season by the Sabres Eichel will be able to showcase his skill with the best of talent from the Atlantic Division.
